We were just in town for the night as we were seeing the Blue Angels the next day. We didn't want to spend a lot on a room since we'd be arriving later in the evening and checking out early the next day. After reading the reviews we decided this should be a nice place to stay....and it was!! Upon... More

A recent stay at BW Catalina Inn exceeded all expectations. Very clean, comfortable and an excellent value. The beds are far superior to other motels in this price range. Although others have mentioned the proximity to Highway 82, the rooms are well insulated and largely soundproofed from the traffic noise. The owners are very courteous and accommodating to guest's needs.... More

Thank you for your kind words about our property! As a small hotel it is sometimes hard to compete with the larger hotels in the area, but we do take pride in our dedication to cleanliness and commitment to customer service. We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay, and we hope you will stop by again soon! More

We stayed here for 3 nights in August. Close to the University of Alabama. The staff was very polite. I was impressed with how clean the rooms were. We usually stay on McFarland right near the university. I was glad that the we stayed here. The continental breakfast was more than I expected. Highly recommed this hotel More

Stayed in 2 different rooms - 1 night in 2 doubles and 2 nights in a single queen. The double bed was very comfortable and mattress was probably newer than the queen. The foam in the queen seemed a bit fatigued as it let me sink to where I could feel the firm surface below and created pressure. It also... More

This Best Western is small and quaint. It was very clean but my non-smoking room did smell obviously of smoke. The staff was gracious, polite and helpful. It was convieniently located and even though near a large road, fairly quiet. It is next door to a Waffle House and the diner's sign cast an interesting yellow glow over the hotel's... More

We were in town for a bowling tournament and wanted to stay somewhere that was a good value but didn't want to skip on quality so we figured that a Best Western would be a good choice. How right we were! The outside of the single story hotel is inviting and clean. The check in process was easy and lobby... More

We started staying here when my soon was a sophomore at the U. of Alabama. He is now in his third year of law school. We stayed at other hotels in the area and had various disappointments. We have stayed here quite a few times over the years and are always pleased with the condition of the hotel. They are... More

The room we stayed in was super clean. The beds were comfortable with 3 pillows per bed. The water pressure was fantastic and the toliets did a supersonic flush. We followed a suggestion and stayed in 102 which is behind the lobby and sheltered from traffic sounds. The location cannot be helped and for Northport, this is probably the best... More

This is a small motel on the US 82 on the outskirts of Tuscaloosa, close to the road but all on one level. There is road noise but very little if you get rooms 101 to 110 as you are sheltered bt the recption building. There is a small seasonal pool but no privacy from the road. Not a particularly attractive... More
