Not our thing. As a couple we were looking for a few days on an island in Fiji before leaving the country. It appeared to us disorganised ; it took a while before they sorted us a room. Breakfast was served when the staff could be bothered to wake up, as were the other meal times. Rubbish was around and... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Mana Lagoon Backpackers for a few days around the end of February 2013. That was the WORST experience of my 4 travels to Fiji in more than 10 different resorts between Mamanucas, Yasawas and Coral Coast. The Mana Lagoon Backpackers is completely disorganized, rooms are very dirty, roofs are broken with big holes... More

Basic accommodation and many little things that could be improved- but I had the best time here. The people are wonderful, I made so many friends and they organized activities most nights, and organized a trip to Castaway Island for us. Did my PADI course with the diving instructor who was fantastic. Did not want to leave!

Stayed here for 6 nights in March. We got a good deal from one of the agents in Nadi paying F$600, which was 6 nights for the price of 4. This includes private room for me and my boyfriend and all meals. The crowd there were mainly in their early 20s so the constant loud party nights got a bit... More

We arrived on mana island to a warm welcome and song from Bosko and the other staff of mana lagoon backpackers. After this we were shown to our dorm which although basic was very average for backpacker quality. The price included three meals a day which were typical Fijian dishes and very tasty. We stayed in the island for four... More

Outstanding Scuba; fantastic snorkeling; brilliant day trips to Castaway Island; and the Sand Island; volleyball; chilling in some sea-side hammocks; best sunset of my life on Sunset beach. Great camaraderie with true Fiji welcome song and farewell by all the hosts and backpackers. Bula - thank you Mana Lagoon!!!

I stayed at this backpackers a few months ago and was really disappointed. I was told before going out that the price included free kayak use as well as free snorkelling gear. When I got out to the island I found out they don't even have a kayak and when I went to use the snorkelling gear they charged me.... More

Mathias and the entire staff at Mana Lagoon truly made my experience a great one. They were professional, extremely caring and I strongly recommend this place to visit. Very pretty area and the food was also great.
