The room was smelly and very very dirty (i.e hair and food on the carpet). Sure the location is very nice (right next to a metro station) but it did not worth the price tag. Staff obviously did not speak a word of english.

This hotel was nice. It wasnt breathtaking, nor was it the best I stayed at during my trip to China. The staff was friendly, didnt speak any english, though. Rooms were clean, but the beds were hard as a rock. Breakfast was buffet style, didnt offer too many good choices, however. My breakfasts there consisted of watermelon, toast, and coffee....

The most uninspiring of the hotels we stayed at in China. Public areas were scruffy and dirty. There are no restaurants near the hotel, so unless you wanted to take underground (right next door to hotel) you were limited to eating in hotel. Food was average hotel food, nothing special. Hotel is way out of Shanghai - nothing in immediate vicinity located next to metro.Hard beds, good food. Do check your change - I gave a RMB 100 and asked them to change it into smaller notes - I got 90 RMB - local Chinese guide got the remaining 10 RMB for me

We stayed here as part of a Travelsphere holiday, our bedroom was clean however it smelt musty, it needs an overhaul, the food was good plenty of choice, it was ok for the time we were there, the hotels for the rest of the tour just got better and better.
