This is a very well located hotel, that is just off the Bund and one block away from Nanjing Road. It is an art deco treasure with rooms that have beautiful back lit iron work in the ceilings and walls. Our room was large with a space that served as an office and this was separated from the sleeping section... More

We booked two standard rooms through hotels.com. At first, I thought they had made a mistake when we checked in because neither rooms had windows. However, although the cheaper room says specifically there are no windows, many of the standard rooms have no windows either, which was not specified on hotels.com and which we were not too pleased about. Asides... More

We asked Two windowed Non-smoking rooms for we have very young kids. The desk says All the building area is Non-smoking area, but when I open our two rooms, the room is filled with cigarette smell. Even there are ashtray and matches inside the room. Even worse, the room has window but the window is unable to open(because the hotel... More

The Manhattan Bund Hotel is in a very convenient location near the Bund. The room we had was a standard twin and was large enough. The beds and duvets were comfortable. The bathroom is like a cubicle and therefore small but it was adequate. One thing to be aware of is that the step down from the bathroom cubicle to... More

I did a fair amount of homework before settling on this hotel. It's location is so good at the heart of the action around the Bund, and very good value - but check the room you are offered before deciding, and if you are a non-smoker, make sure it doesn't smell of smoke. I was offered a choice of non-smoking... More

We stayed in executive suite for 6 nights. The bed was very comfortable. Duvet was light and warm. 2 pillows per person. Room was cleaned every day - not spotless, with some dust in the corners, but much cleaner that many other hotels we stayed it. Free bottles of water provided every day. There was a smell of drainage in... More

This Hotel is a great place to stay as it is central to the heartbeat of Shanghai and the Bund. The room, (executive suite), was spacious and clean although the bath did not hold water at all! The breakfast was actually very nice except for the mouldy bread on offer but they were more than happy to get another loaf... More

This is a small boutique hotel with a beautiful art deco hotel. The rooms are tiny, many with no windows, but at 47 bucks a night you cannot go wrong. It is located behind the Peace Hotel which has a nice jazz bar and the historic bund architecture is all within walking distance. More

Decent hotel if you are used to travelling in developing countries. Its no Ritz Carlton, but is pretty clean, comfortable bed, and relatively good service. The real selling point of this hotel is that its 200M from the Bund, close to a major subway station (Nanjing East) and close to Nanjing East Road shopping area. I stayed at the hotel... More

we book an executive suite through expedia...was reasonable considering that we were considerng other standard rooms in other hotels that was even more expensive than this suite. the room was big, had a jacuzzi bath which was good after a long day of walking, and many mirrors around....the 2 main drawbacks were that the lights were dim and you did...
