“The 3 R's”

Just returned from 6 nights at Papagayo Village. I found the experience was relaxed, recuperative and rustic. Allen's greeting was friendly, welcoming and warm. His willingness to even rise before the sun to drive us to the airport the last day was appreciated. It was wonderful to have a place to call "home" instead of staying in a hotel room.... More

Expectations typically exceed reality, but in the case of Papagayo Village we found a hospitable, friendly and welcome home among the swaying palms, beckoning surf and chattering monkeys of Playa Hermosa far beyond our highest hopes. “Welcoming and relaxing!”

The wonderful welcome we received from Papagayo Village was a fabulous beginning to our 35th Anniversary Celebration. The village quickly became home away from home for all 19 of our guests. “Rustic and relaxed!”

It is only by good fortune that we found out about Papagayo Village but we are definitely glad we did. The facilities are a rustic but well maintained and the service from the owners down to the house keeper could not have been better. A single week is simply not enough time!
