I was in this place few days ago and it was the worst experience I had in Costa-Rica. It is not the place itself but the owner. After we checked in (28$ for double room) he told us he want us to pay for luggage storage one dollar for each hour for each person. When we told him that this... More

From the sounds of the write up in Lonely Planet, JC and Friends had better days. The rooms are not that bad, affordable for the area and having a kitchen will save you a lot of money.
