We spent 2 nights at El Rodeo while coming/going from the airport in San Jose. It is adequate for a quick stop over as we had. Decent rooms,nice grounds, very clean. We stayed at El Rodeo for one night on our way back to the states after a cruise. The hotel is in an out of the way location, about 15 minutes from the airport. This is the third time I have stayed at El Rodeo and it has been consistantly excellent. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the service also very good. By North American standards the price is about average, but if this hotel was in the states it would be double or triple the price.... More

Really liked this place. We chose it for the last night because it was close to the airport. Rooms had hardwood floors and were big with a huge bathroom. Dispensers for soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower. A window on each side of the room for cross-ventilation (this area of Costa Rica isn't hot) There was a nice pool... More

This is a delightful hotel near the San Jose Airport. It is quiet, secure, and well maintained. The rooms are large and comfortable. The service is friendly and attentive. My wife and I loved it!
