The Ara Ambigua Lodge is convenient to activities in the Sarapiqui area and provides comfortable lodging and good food. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and roomy. There are different types of accomodations in three different areas; we we up a small hill from reception in ground level rooms, and did not see the others.

The room was big with 2 double beds and good air con. A fridge would have been nice. WIFI is only available in the hotel lobby and a computer is available if you don't have your own. We had room 15 which was wonderful. Rooms 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b, etc., were not great, even awful. I saw about 20 rooms there as I was with a group.
