Spent one night here with a group I was traveling with... Got the best night's sleep of my nine days in Costa Rica.Tents provide plenty of privacy with an attached bath for each. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the dining area. Would definitely do it again.

Only 1,5 hours from San Jose you find this beautiful place in the middle of nature. The tent suites are very comfortable, ours had a kingsize bed, electricity and a terrace in front. All of the tents have a private bathroom in which you also find a save and a place to put your cloths and stuff. Thats practical as... More

This 'hotel' was really querky and is not the place to stay if you don't like bugs or animals, however, it was a fantastic place to stay to experience sleeping surrounded by the rainforest and the noise of the wildlife and to be able to watch the animals from your balcony and bed. The tents are all individually set in... More

The tented accommodation was awesome, but - it is a tent in the rainforest - so if you're expecting a bug-free atmosphere, rather stick to the cities! The adventure activities were excellent and the staff at the main house were excellent. As I was traveling with a group of students - I can highly recommend this outfit as perfect for... More

This place offers tent suites. Sounds weird, but it means permanent tents on wooden platforms with (very basic, but functional) bathrooms and toilets in an en-suite cabin next to the tent. The suites are well separated so you do get reasonable privacy even though the humidity will guarantee that you leave the tent flaps open at night. If that sounds... More

We didn't stay at the hotel, as we didn't know they had lodging, but will have to give it a try next time because we had a blast! Our activities were set up by our hotel in San Jose including transportation and the trip also included breakfast and lunch at the Pozo Azul facilities. We had a great time. My... More

It was a real experience to sleep in the jungle in a tent. They call it tentsuites. The tents are build on a big wooden surface. You have a big terrace with seats. You have your own bathroom. And in a tent you are one with the nature. You hear clearly the sound of the jungle.

WE drove here from Peace Lodge to spend the day horseback riding and white water rafting. I would highly recommend these! Horses were well kept and listened nicely to commands, not the typical trail horses I have found in the states! The ride was diverse as to scenery and I enjoyed it very much. Those that wished to were allowed... More

We didn't actually stay in the accommodation, but used the centre for it's activities. We did the canopy tour zipping through the rain forest, the guides were great, very safe and also knowledgeable about the wildlife. We saw howler monkeys on the tour. Next we did the white water rafting, there hadn't been a lot of rain and the river... More

The tented suites at Pozo Azul are SOOOO cozy and being inside the rainforest of Sarapiqui area is just splendid! Friends and I went there mostly for the adventure activities (canopy zip lining, rapelling, river rafting and horseback riding) but wish we would have scheduled an extra day just to soak up the surrounds. Falling asleep to the sounds of... More
