The location is superb: 1 min walk from the National Park entrance, and 1 block away from the main drag - so it's super quiet there. The backyard is adjacent to the creek (swamp), so it's bursting with wildlife: I managed to photograph iguanas, crabs, herons, two different kinds of monkeys without even leaving the hotel grounds.
