Clean, comfortable, basic, but nice beds, a good restaurant with Caribbean food, friendly staff, free internet and a 5 minute drive to Puerto Viejo. 25 yards to a good beach and a nice clean swimming pool on the property.This place has soul and is very laid back.

Good: the access to the beach is OK the Pool Ok, very clean. good breakfast very helpful and friendly staff Issues: Room next to the pool is a bit noisy and close to the main street. bathroom is very very small toilet is a bit old therefore noisy too but acceptable I will recommend to others

Great family hotel. There are nice coral reef ponds nearby that are safe for children. A toucan came to visit us every morning (great pictures). We rented a two-story cabin enough for six people. Main king size bed very comfortable, other beds too small for grownups. Kitchenette is very useful for preparing meals and saving money with permanently hungry cubs...Good... More

Avoid, at all costs staying at the rooms near the pool/main roadside, it is impossible to get some sleep unless you're wearing shooting range quality earplugs. You will hear the noise from the cars, your neighbors even whispering, worst if they're noisy, this rooms should be storage places instead of being for human use.

Wonderful assistance from English speaking Carol made the stay..Be cautious renting bikes across the road...do not trust them.. wonderful location with miles of beach to walk..nice location to explore both Manzanillo and Puerto Viejo..rooms basic but clean and comfortable. good bargain

Stayed here for a weekend escape and it was ok. Our room, a Junior Villa had direct access to the beach (tide pools – if you want to enjoy the beach we recommend you drive to Punta Uva). It is a shame the balcony outside the room is not in good condition and does not have at least a hammock... More
