I have stayed at Hotel Pura Vida several times. If you are looking for quiet and nice euro style accommodations close to the center of town, it is hard to beat. Personally, I like being in town for the night life in Puerto Viejo, I head out to the beaches during the day.

Stayed here for three nights and loved it! Hardwood floors, hammocks and the most beautiful view from the shower ever! One of our favorite hotels in Costa Rica! The people at the front desk were very helpful with planning excursions and transportation. I would recommend Pura Vida to anyone!
