We stayed at the Parador for 6 days starting May 6th. We thought it was an exceptional place to stay. We stayed in one of the suites so we had a balcony with our own private jaccuzzi, The grounds were fabulous and we noticed something new everytime we walked around. It really did give us the feel of a castle... More

First of all , I have to mention that i am from Costa Rica. That means that my standards regarding tropical paradise are really high. This hotel is absolutely incredible. Monkeys , birds, butterflies, flowes....all around. A wonderful monkey trail, an incredible virgin beach: biesanz just around the corner, nice views, beatiful decoration. The spa is awesome very reasonable priced.Rooms... More

We arrived at the Hotel Parador on April 30 for our daughter's wedding on May 4. We were greeted with cold fruit drinks and cool scented cloths which were wonderful after a long day of travelling from North Carolina. The food was great (especially the free breakfast buffet). Lunch by the pools was very relaxing and excellent. The tours (ziplining,... More

My husband and I planned a last minute trip to Costa Rica, and settled on Hotel Parador due to it's proximity to Manuel Antonio National Park, as well as it's easy access to zip lining, white water rafting and surfing. Upon arrival we were greeted with fresh fruit drinks and moist towels which was great after a long travel day.... More

This resort is clean, beautiful, and family friendly. Food- The food is decent and it has several different restaurants, which is nice. The fruit drinks from the bar were awesome- you can order them with or without alcohol. They are made with all natural fresh fruit; none of that colored liquid stuff out of pump like we get back home.... More

I recently stayed here as a guest of the Tourism Board but we were not upgraded or given special amenities. This property is a few miles up a windy road from the Manuel Antonio National Park and beaches. You do not have direct access to the beaches from this hotel or any of the others unless they are in the... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the parador for our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived after 15 hours of traveling we were greeted with kind service and amazing fresh fruit drinks that really made us feel like the journey was worth it. The wonderful people at the front desk were the tip of the iceberg to the remaining... More

It sounds like you were able to have a very relaxing honeymoon! We’re glad the weather cooperated for the most part. Even in the rainy season Costa Rica is lovely and there is always something to do. We would love for you both to return for your first anniversary! Best regards, More

My wife and I just got back from spending a week in Costa Rica for our honeymoon. Part of the trip we spent at the Hotel Parador Resort. It is a great place and everything was wonderful particularly the service and friendliness from every member of the staff we encountered. I wanted to make special mention of the time we... More

Where to start? We arrived at Hotel Parador for 3 days on the third leg of our Costa Rica trip. We had driven apprx 4 hours from Monteverde & it was VERY HOT. We were greeted at the desk with cold fruit drinks & cool scented cloths to wipe the sweat from our faces. Keep in mind that there is... More

We are so glad you had such an amazing time during your stay! You really did get the best view in the resort and nothing sounds better than waking up to the sound of exotic birds and going to sleep to the sounds of howler monkeys. We would love for you to return and explore more of Costa Rica! Best... More

Our experience at Hotel Parador was amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. I accidentally left my phone on the inbound flight from San Jose... and within 1.5 hours it found it's way back to me thanks to Christopher (with the help of our cab driver). He even sent someone to pick it up... More

Thank you so much, you are too kind! We were more than happy to help you retrieve your cell phone, we know how stressful that can be especially while traveling with a little one. Speaking of which, your son was adorable and we hope he had a great time! The monkeys and other exotic animals didn’t seem to scare him... More
