My wife and I recently (last week in April 2013) stayed at Osa Clandestina and had a great time. The cabins were clean and comfortable, with monkeys and tropical birds visible daily from our private deck. The food was cooked to order, was local, fresh and organic, and was very good...it was wonderful to come back from surfing, hiking or... More

We stayed for 8 nights at Osa Clandestina. This is a tranquilo rustic comfort resort for travelers who like their own space but also like to connect with similar types. Bungalows are clean, simple, comfortable, and well designed. Food is local and organic and made mostly to order by Mary Alice, the manager of the place. She also provided lots... More

This is the most serenely beautiful place I've been to in my life. I still can't believe I'm here right now as I type this review. The adventure of riding in a small craft on Sansa Airlines to the jungle safari ride to the beautiful cabins, Osa Clandestina is truly an escape from the bustle of America. Here the sounds... More

I have been going to Costa Rica my entire life (25 years now), and have been to almost every beach on both coasts. However, there is no contest: Osa is by far the best locale, boasting the most diverse wildlife and the sickest waves around. This is not the Costa Rica of mass development, and thankfully there is not a... More

I stumbled upon Osa Clandestina by accident online in 2010. I went there without having a good idea of where it was or what it would really be like, beyond the reviews on this site. I have now been there three times, and it holds a special place in my heart, not just because of the place and its amenities,... More

i'm gonna seriously regret blowing the cover on what i consider to be the best place to run away to from home. from west or east coast US, and most places, it's a totally doable trip. and so worth it. skip the larger named eco lodges for an intimate slice of heaven on earth. seriously, you want for nothing. want... This was a long trip awaited. My guy and I were desperate to disappear from the jungle of NYC and to embrace the darkness of the Rain forest. That is what we got and more, once we arrived at on the Osa we were whisked away into the depths of the isthmus, something to experience and hard to portray. Our... More

Very private, located within walking distance to great surf in Pan Dulce. The atmosphere is unique with great food, the staff makes you feel at home, yet you are located in a natural Paradise.Flying red scarlet macaws, various monkeys, hawks,Nature at its best. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is great for family or small groups of friends or a romantic get away.
