We had just come back from a day of zip-lining and hiking and we were hot, tired, and thirsty. Las Islas Lodge was a very welcome place for us to relax. The grounds are attractive, the pool is cool, and the room had a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a small refrigerator! Loved the huge shower in the bathroom. Helen,... More

On visual inspection, they are most definitely the most beautiful and lush property in Puerto Jimenez, impeccably kept by a gardener who knows his stuff. Coming through the gate, you feel immediately at home in the lush tropical setting. You are warmly greeted by Maria and/or Oscar, the proprietors, who make you feel like old friends. They will do everything... More

We stayed here for only 2 nights while in the Osa Penninsula. It's a great place to stay while you're visiting the Osa Penninsula. The hotel arranged a tour and our guide Juan Carlos was great! It gets very hot there, so be prepared with plenty of water and sunscreen on those trips into Corcovado National Park. As for the... More

We were served very nicely when arriving late. The rooms are spotless, but for my taste maybe a little dull. Good place for overnight stay, especially if your going fishing. More

Stayed at Las Islas for 4 nights in Jan 2012. Very pleasant hotel, probably the best in this area. Was collected by free taxi from the airstrip which is only 5 mins away. Our room was a lovely little detatched cabin with very thorough cleaning daily and lovely towel displays! Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Takes 10 mins to... More

The manager/owner Maria Fernanda was tireless and faultless in her efforts to organise all the trips/outings/activities we wanted to do. All drivers/activities organised via Las Islas were reliable, on time and great fun. Room spacious and well-cleaned daily, very decent A/C. Costa Rica in general is not cheap, especially at peak season when we were there, and the prices at... More

I was initially underwhelmed when we rolled up to Las Islas because I was hoping that non-hotel amenities (food) would be more easily available and the Lodge is about a mile away from PJ. After picking up some groceries and dinner on the first night, I think that one of the best attributes of Las Islas is that mile buffer.... More

I went to Las Islas Lodge in early December of this year and stayed 4 days and I received the best service I had ever received at any hotels in my life. First off I got picked up at the airport and then the Taxi driver brought me to the grocery store and waited for me to do my shopping... More

My first time to the Osa region which ended up to be the favorite part of my Costa Rica trip in large part due to our stay at Las Islas Lodge and the hospitality of Maria and Oscar. First the rooms are large, modern, with A/C, a small refrig and immaculately clean. Set among pretty garden landscaping the small pool... More
