This is a long-overdue review of Bosque del Cabo. Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids under 15) stayed over Christmas 2011. Although the place was fully booked, it never felt overcrowded. The staff was simply wonderful, they always seemed as if they were happy to see you and went out of their way to fulfill whatever need you... More

My husband and I were guests at a friend's wedding in early May 2012. We spent 6 nights in a deluxe cabin, staggering views, fabulous food, incredible wildlife everywhere, including monkeys in the trees surrounding our beautiful accommodation. The standard of everything in our cabin (Pizote) was fantastic, the staff are charming and well informed - they arranged a birthday... More

Having travelled to 60 different countries and or islands...it is fair to say Bosque was brilliant - all 750 acres! Off the beaten path, full of new found treasures on a daily basis. Bosque is all about nature....a very real travel experience. From the staff, fellow travellers, the God given land, animals, birds and reptiles....the feeling of being and seeing... More

There is definitely a wow factor about this place when you first arrive. Even when you pass through what you think is the entrance gate and the driver says ‘welcome to Bosque del Cabo’, you’re still not quite there yet as it’s a few more minutes drive before you actually reach the reception desk. This gives you the first idea... More

Bosque del Cabo is a gem. Carved (gently) out of the rainforest of the Osa Penninsula, the lodge is natural, elegant, low-key, and just jaw-droppingly beautiful. My family (wife, and two kids, ages 11 and 13, and I) just returned from a five-night stay. We had been there about seven years earlier, and though we were worried that it wouldn't... More

Bosque del Cabo was everything that we had anticipated. A beautiful location, spectacular views, terrific food and first class service. Regardless if you sit on your deck or follow one on many hiking choices you will be surrounded by the view and sounds of wildlife. There are four species of monkeys and many species of birds. The view along the... More

My teen son & I stayed 3 nights at BDC. LOVED it. . Stylish bungalows, great food, monkeys in the trees, frogs of every kind, macaws flying overhead, a truly amazing guide ( thank you Phil!!) and lovely staff. Loved the trail ( over 200 steep steps at least, but worth it) to pacific beach - majestic!. I cant believe... More

We stayed in one of the deluxe cabinas. It has a great view of the water, and we saw plenty of wildlife from the terrace, including a big Iguana who visited us every day! The hiking trails were well marked and on each one we saw animals -- wild boar, armadillo, different species of monkeys, toucans, maccaws, parrots, various butterflies,... More

Our family recently spent 4 nights at Bosque and enjoyed it immensely. We stayed in a Deluxe Cabina with loft and it was very spacious and clean. Our covered front porch was perfect for viewing the ocean and frequent wildlife that crossed right in front of our Cabin (including monkeys, vultures, toads and macaws). We took advantage of the hiking... More

My husband and I stayed here for the first three nights of our Osa adventure. Our cabina (Mariposa) was privately located at the end of a pathway beside the rainforest so we only had neighbours on one side. It was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. We loved the outdoor shower. The grounds are immaculate and we enjoyed relaxing by the... More
