Moto Iti is positioned on a stunning part of the lagoon off Moorea. The views from the rooms are excellent. However, the accommodation itself leaves a lot to be desired. The rooms are fairly basic, the beds average in comfort. Our room included a mosquito net, but this was so old and damaged it may as well not have been... More

We stayed at pension Motu Iti for three nights and really enjoyed our stay in one of the garden bungalows. The highlight of the pension is the small jetty sitting in the sea. We had a few nights here, watching the sun set with some drinks and playing cards. Very peaceful and a beautiful setting. There are also several kayaks... More

My husband and I stayed at Pension Motu Iti for around 5 nights in total in July 2011 and absolutely loved it. It is a reasonably priced option especially for Moorea and there are only 5 wooden cabins and some dorms there and so it is nice and peaceful. There are 3 cabins at the front and 2 at the... More

The only positive point about this place is the nice little pontoon in front of the hotel, even though visibility is poor for snorkling; it is a nice spot to lay in the sun. The rooms are very hot with no ac and a tiny fan that barely turns. There is high pressure to eat at their restaurant, but it... More

As many backpackers told us they had a not very confortable dorm, we stayed in a Bungalow and I can assure 100% that it is the best good value and authentic lodgement in Moorea and the best place while we did visit the French Polynesia. The Pension is ideal located, just 200 mts from a luxury hotel, where guests pay... More

Polynesian´s warmness and kindness doesn`t apply to the owner of this guesthouse. If happens that you are staying at the dorm, then without any notice you´d become a class-B guest for him. All guidebooks suggest staying at these family-run places as a way to interact with locals, but here that interaction is not a pleasant thing. Every request that I... More

My 8 day stay there in the dormitory was marked by the poorest service I have ever seen in a hotel/hostel/guesthouse. Chosen for what I thought was key location in between the two major bays, I would find that the nearest grocery story and restaurant district in Cook's Bay was a tiring 45-minute walk. Though I paid a low price... More

We stayed here because Lonely Planet rated it as their top pick. While the place has some nice points in its favor, overall it was a disappointment. First, the good points... The waterfront bungalows are nearly on the water (our was about 2ft away), they give up nothing to the $800+/night overwater bungalows at the expensive resorts. Sitting on the... More

I booked to stay 5 nights at the dorm here. When I arrived the Receptionist showed me to the dorm. It was just 4 beds in a loft above the reception of the hotel. A sheet was an extra 250 francs. The dorm had no door and not even a wall facing the beach and of course no mosquito protection.... More

We loved this place. Our room was a garden bungalow. With only 50 steps, we were at the water. There were 2 garden bungalows,2 water bungalows and a dorm.A girl we met at the dorm did say it was hot.We didn't stay in these so that's all I can about those. Our room was comfortable and we had ceiling fan and netting around the...
