The views in the front rooms (closest to the ocean) are fantastic. If that's all you're looking for, this is the place for you. Cheap, threadbare carpet, uncomfortable bed, substandard bathroom, very uncomfortable. Never stay there again.

We stayed in the beach front rooms. The view was fantastic and we loved the path down to the beach. The office personnel were very welcoming and gave us great advice for restaurants and things to do while we were in town.

I was skeptical at first. Being from the lower 48, I've seen my share of run down motels. But this was not one of those. Don't judge a book by its cover. You have to see the rooms and meet the owners. They're incredible. Breath taking view, southern Hospitality and the rooms are clean.

We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the quiet, the views and the general surroundings. It was our fourth trip to Alaska and this was among the best places we stayed. The staff was helpful, the location is within walking distance to the grocery store(s), and the view is outstanding. We shall stay here again when we revisit Homer.

Spacious motel style rooms with kitchenette and outside balcony. Very clean and light. We had a room nearest the shore and the views of the water and mountains from the room were stunning. Booked this motel on-line after reading some travel tips on the Fodor's Forum web page, from previous travelers. Greeted by owner, friendly, helpful & knowledgeable with Homer.
