I have to admit, I really hated the shower. The shower curtain is super cheap and would not keep the water in the shower and left a big puddle on the floor. The rooms are clean and SUPER SMALL. I believe they are set up to be like rooms on a ship. Their is basic cable. The walls are extremely... More

Ajs steakhouse owned by the same family as the driftwood inn is amazing. The cook makes fantastic food and the service is unbelievable. Erica waited on us and she is fantastic. Sweet as pie and definitely worth meeting. More

I used to live in Homer and know every place in town. I always stay here when i bring friends back to town. Very cute, clean reasonable and location, location, location. The staff is the bomb. AJs is across the street for great food and live entertainment. The beach is out the back door! More

I was very comfortable staying here. The staff is very friendly and the surroundings are very welcoming. My room was small, and that would bother some people which is why I mention it, but I am a big man, and it didn't bother me at all. I had absolutely no problem with the shared bath either. I would suggest that... More

We Stayed at the seaside lodge one night our first time in Homer. The staff was very friendly, and accommodating. They led us to the seaside lodge, and the view was amazing. It didn't feel like you were staying at a hotel at all. It felt like you were in your own vacation home. I would recommend this place to... More

My wife and I are a couple of the locals that have enjoyed the Driftwood Inn. Thanks goodness they have the choices they do. We stayed two nights at their Seaside Inn; which features King size beds and a killer view of the beach, the use of a functional kitchen and large "family room". The weather was rough and they... I stayed here in March and walked daily to the Ocean and Islands Visitors Center. Comfortable, well-kept older place, great value choice. Really friendly staff and fellow guests, common space clean and comfortable, central to about anything in town. More

The room I stayed in was small but nice and had everything I needed. I fished while in Homer and used the freezer to store fish and their grill to cook fish for dinner. The grill and deck are awesome way to cook your own dinner (they have grill tools and spices etc for a minimal charge). More

When my husband told me the price of this place, I told him it must be per person. This hotel is very affordable! We paid $65 for a double-bed and twin bunkbeds with a sea-side view. I think they get a lot of fishing clients, but our toddler was at home there too. There is a community fridge that we... More

We usually come in the winter for ski races and have stayed in several of the units. This last trip in Jan. we stayed in the main building... More
