We needed a last minute hotel and didn't want to spend the typical Alaskan fortune on a one night stay. Well, we got what we paid for. It served its purpose; we had beds and showers. We also had an old, mildew-scented, boring room with a tiny console t.v. People still have those!?

When we travel we are looking for a clean comfortable place to store our luggage during the day, sleep, and shower. This hotel met our needs. We didn't have the noise issues, but we were in the back of the hotel and possibly there weren't others nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

The Heritage Hotel is just another place to stay...nothing special. Ask for a room in the newer section...they may want to charge you more, but stand your ground. Location is quite convenient being in the middle of town. Don't expect any views from your room. During our stay they offered one of the best prices compared to other hotels.
