This is a great little hostel in a great little town! You can have a few beers out back in the evening and the owner Catherine even gave me a lift to the bus station when I was leaving. Would definitely recommend it!

Clean, friendly, convenient. Good kitchen and comfortable common area. Decent rooms and facilities.

Holly was wonderful when we were there. We stayed only for a night, but the place felt like home. Holly even went out of the way to try to make our room with 6 bunkbeds into a private room for the two of us by adjusting people in other rooms. Highly recommended.

Holli, the owner is wonderful, the hostel is walking distance to everything and a lot of fun. There were other people there too. They have a full kitchen so bring food if you want to cook your own. I stayed in a private room that was nice and clean.

These other reviewers must not know what a Hostel is. It is not a hotel or a B&B. The pictures on the internet must have been taken when the hostel was new. I found the facility to look run down. Weeds were over grown around the hostel. The volkswagen bus where I had intended to stay smell of mildew and was dirty looking. I was quite disappointed and did not stay there.

This place was in Talkeetna,AK Everyone should be warned!!! It was smelly, bus bed mildew,& wet where we were to stay..No place where you felt safe to leave your things.Their website was deceving... pictures not true! Must be when they 1st opened .. bus had been wrecked since pics were made. House uncared for.We couldn't stay there!
