This place had a great view by the river. It was quite roomy. Two upstairs bedrooms shared a bathroom downstairs. The heater was fuel oil, so that smell was present. The inn was clean, but the kitchen was not spotless. It was rustic but very nice. The inn fit in with the flavor of Talkeetna - outdoorsy.

We liked this place a lot! It was relaxing and private.

We have used the Eye of Denali 3 times now and will likely come back. It is conveniently located within walking distance of beautiful downtown Talkeetna. The views are stunning and and we love being able to cook our own food. Lots of space for kids. Reservations are easy and the hosts accomodating.

positives: the suite had plenty of room, available bikes were great cons: no soap, no toaster for the bread that was supplied, couch was stained in many places---definitely needs a new cover, or better yet a new couch
