Laura is really nice and hospitable and her B&B is clean and comfort. The place of the B&B is about 5 mins away from so-called downtown of Valdez but you can easily find it. Maybe it's not the best, but definitely it's a good choice in Valdez.

I stayed in L&L over the memorial day weekend. We stayed in the downstair bedroom. When I first walked in, the room did smell like wet socks. I don't have a good sense of smell, so I was not really bothered by it. The room looked clean, but it seemed to be old. The shower was clean and the breakfast...

My wife and I toured Alaska for a month, the last 10 days of which were spent at B&B's. As our daughter is a sea kayak guide in Valdez, we stayed here for 3 nights while visiting her. Alaska is fairly expensive and the quality of accommodations varies widely. As we were on such a long trip and staying here...

A spectacular house.
An meticulously clean, immaculate house.
Cozy, friendly environment.
A good breakfast.
Free wireless.
We booked no rooms for our trip because we wanted to be free to travel when and where we wanted. We rolled into Valdez about 8PM and looked at the over-priced hotel. We weren't impressed. So we...

The home was well maintained in a subdivision of similar homes. The room and shared bathroom were clean, the living room had a TV and lots of travel information which was at the disposal of guests. There was no hot breakfast - just cold stuff like cereal, rolls, etc.
The room is nice. Downstairs is a little damp. The bathroom is huge and nice. Pretty clean compare to hostels. However, if you are looking to cook, it might not be possible. Breakfast is simple cold cereals and milk/OJ/coffee. we enjoyed our stay there, inexpensive and fair quality.
We were happy with L and L bed and breakfast. Our host was a wealth of knowledge about Valdez and Alaska as a whole. She was one of the few people we met on the trip that was born in Alaska. Her house is very well kept, and is the perfect place to use as a fishing camp. We will...

If you don't mind shared bathrooms, this B&B is an affordable & convenient place to stay in Valdez. The owner goes out of her way to make you feel welcome - often offering you a ride if you need one & it doesn't conflict with her day job. The morning I left she went out of her way to suggest...

The price is reasonable, however we didn`t like the place. We stayed in one of the bedrooms downstairs and It was dirty (yes, it was nasty) the complete house smelled badly and the bathroom didn`t looked clean (and by the way, there is a fridge inside the bathroom). The overall service was regular, although for breakfast all she had was...
