We happened upon this B&B after traveling from McCarthy - a long day. Luckily Louise had a vacancy. We stayed three nights. Great set up with a small kitchen and stocked refrigerator with breakfast plus homemade muffins. There is not a more gracious host!! We would stay there again in a heart beat. I recently moved into the area, however, prior to access to my new home, I stayed at Country Lakes Bed and Breakfast in the Garden Room. The rooms here were clean and comfortable. This was my first time to Alaska and I'm already planning my return visit. This place was great. Every night when we returned we had something that was home made baked (bread, scones) and other treats, wating for us in the room. Very peaceful and relaxing. I took my 5 yr. old and he had a blast.

We stayed one night at Country Lakes. The location is heavenly and has a large decking area near the Lake edge. It was a lovely warm day when we stayed. The owner is a very nice friendly person.
