We had the most amazing time at the Copper Queen Hotel this past weekend. The hotel owners and their staff made our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration perfect. The food was exceptional. The hospitality was fantastic. Everyone should put the Copper Queen experience on their "bucket" list.

We revisited the Copper Queen in late March 2013. Check in was simple and fast. Free parking was just down the road, a short distance. Room was small, but efficient and nicely appointed. Making the reservation was easy. People were nice. Bar was a little pricy. Food in the restaurant was good and not too pricy. Close to local attractions. Room was OK, clean but a little worn. Kind of expected from a building dating way back. Air conditioner was noisy. Nice change of pace, pretty close to a lot of things.

We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. Bread, salad and dinner was very good. Waiter was very helpful and friendly. Restaurant could probably use a good vacuuming and dusting, otherwise it's charming and casual. The bread pudding with a crumb topping and raspberry coulis is the best I've ever had! Only wish they would share the recipe!!!

We recently stayed at this hotel while on a short vacation to the area. What a wonderful old hotel! Beautifully furnished, We absolutely loved it. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming.
