My wife and I stayed here since it is a haunted hotel. It does have a creepiness to it, but that's what I liked. To get to it, you have to walk across a concrete bridge. It appears to be original from when it was built. No A/C. Some rooms have private bathrooms some don't. We had one that did.... More

my wife and I needed a place to stay on short notice. Cute old victorian house with large front porch, but set up like a boarding house. Manager seemed indifferent and muddled. He was in his bedroom drinking beer on a Saturday afternoon when we wandered in looking for a room. We had to ask for towels for the bathroom... More

Very disappointed with everything. The room smelled and the carpet was filthy. No soap, bathmat, hand towels or bathroom cup. The bath towels were rough. The "breakfast" consisted of a "help yourself" generic english muffin and Folgers coffee served in a dirty kitchen. There wasn't even a place to sit unless you went outside. For what we got we should... More

My husband and I spent a night here for our anniversary. It was the best nights sleep I've gotten in years! The house itself is beautiful and clean and our hostess was more than gracious. We plan on making the Oliver House an annual getaway. The views are amazing and it is walking distance to all Bisbee has to offer.

My friends and I went to bisbee for a ghost hunting weekend. We chose the Oliver House for it's paranormal activity. When we first arrived, it was dark so it only looked old and not too terribly dirty. But as the night wore on we ran into many disgusting things. The bathroom was filthy, the towels smelled bad, cracks and... More

We had a very pleasant stay at the Oliver House. The caretakers were very friendly and full of helpful information. The accommodations are very, very, very, very simple but our expectations were to experience the historical and paranormal qualities of the Oliver House and not a 'hotel' stay. My only complaint was that I felt it was about $40-50 overpriced... More

I have traveled all over the world and spend at least 10 days of the year in Bisbee. I usually avoid B&B's because I don't want to see pictures of the proprietor's grandkids and don't wish to engage in smalltalk with strangers at breakfast. I stay at Oliver House every time I am In Bisbee. There are fancier places to... More

Sorry, I really did not want to post this. I really didn't. I just had to due to the fact the place had bed bugs and that is a health issue, and I mean REAL bad too. My wife slept on 1 bed and I on the other. She was covered head to toe with bites all in a line.... More

The room we got was not clean but ok. The shower was cracking. No soap in the room. We did hear things all night. footsteps and doors slamming (that part was fun).

A little funky can be a good thing. The Oliver House way over-does the funk. The property is littered with all kinds of junk and trash. The maintenance and upkeep of the place has obviously been neglected for years. For example - cigarette burns on the end table, carpet holes repaired with duct tape, furniture broken down and worn out.... More
