My partner and I stayed here the other night as part of our Route 66 road trip to the East Coast. We were really excited to stay here but, unfortunately, the poor customer service let the whole experience down. We have stayed in a number of Route 66 classic 'must-stays' and the one thing we have loved throughout the whole... More

This stay at the Wigwam motel seemed like a must-do on our road trip through Arizona and a perfect way to experience Rt. 66. We got exactly what we asked for. The interior of the Wigwam appeared to have been most recently updated when Rt. 66 was still thriving. It did come with a TV and there was a heater... More

We stayed here the other night and were very disappointed. The wigwams were overpriced, very basic and dirty. We were travelling Route 66 and had stayed in various motels (super 8's etc) along the route all of which were cheaper and far better than this place. You are paying for the novelty value, however the 'wigwams' are small concrete buildings... More

Stayed at the Wigwam a couple of weeks ago while on a Route 66 adventure. I have wanted to stay here for years. After reading many of the reviews, I was somewhat apprehensive but there was no way I was going to pass up the opportunity to stay in a Wigwam because I felt it was a must stay for... More

As part of our Route 66 journey, we wanted to stay in some of the iconic hotels along the way. This was one of the few, however, that coincided with our planned itinerary. Yes, it's a novelty, and you wouldn't want to be over 6 feet tall when using the shower, but we enjoyed a perfectly comfortable one night stay.... More

Went with our six year old daughter and loved it! The rooms are very spacious and clean! Very quiet even though located on historical route 66! Our daughter felt she was in the cars cartoon from Disney and had a super time. Well worth the experience, great value for money!

When I was young and newly married we drove past the Wigwam Motel on our way to our new military home in California. I remember telling my husband that I wanted to stay in the wigwam some day. 43 years later we did! We brought our 34 year old daughter and sister in law with us. We had two wigwams... More

I always like to find strange places to stay whenever I go on a road trip and a few years back I stayed at a Wigwam. It was cozy. The concrete Wigwam kept the room very quiet at night. It's small but that was expected. I enjoyed my experience.

I think its great this place is still around. Dont expect luxury. The Wigwams are clean and cozy. No coffee maker or hairdryer so bring your own. Theres a great Safeway Grocery very near for restocking your cooler. We stayed one night before driving through the Petrified Forest on our way to Sante Fe.

My husband and I stayed here for a night while travelling Route 66 . What a great experience. Wigwams were roomy and bed was comfy. This place is basic accommodation but everything is clean and tidy. Wi-fi is virtually non existent in the rooms,, but it is available at the reception lounge where there is a sofa, flat screen tv... More
