“Great Start”

We booked Forest Hall as our starting point of a trip from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town. Our only regret was not stopping longer. Its a great place full of charm and character. James was amazingly helpful, as were the whole staff. Excellent place we will be back!

“A touch of paradise”

This guest house was an amazing find. The room we stayed in was lovely with an oldie worldy, quaint interior and the grounds were stunning with magnificent trees, a lovely pool and a beautiful, walled garden. “A Welcome Break”

This was a peaceful oasis after 38 hours of travel from California. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and very welcome. The host directed us to a very good and inexpensive restaurant and provided a fine breakfast in the morning. One caveat:bring directions, because it is in a quiet residential neighborhood and easy to miss.

Beautiful tranquil surroundings perfect stopover. Set in the middle of a quite Residential area of Port Elizabeth with large grounds and pool area. Owner manager is friendly and very helpful, not always that easy to get into as it is extremely popular

Forest Hall is such a fantastic find! It's very convenient - close to the airport and to a major shopping centre in Walmer. James and his staff were fantastic, the room was absolutely perfect and had everything. It was so cosy we didn't even go out to eat but ordered supper in. “Enchanting gardens.”

Only stayed for one night but could have happily stayed for longer with the facilities provided. The room was gorgeous and had enough kitchen to self cater easily. All staff spoken to we're helpful and the breakfast was good. Comfy beds with electric blankets (must get one of those!) All round excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend.

“Lovely stay”

We had a very pleasant stay at Forest Hall Guest House in Walmer, P.E. The room was beautiful and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The garden and surroundings were lovely and very peaceful. The hosts and servants were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely like to stay again when we are in P.E.

“Shame we couldn't stay longer!”

Booked here for a night as we were starting our Garden Route trip from here, it was highly rated on TA and close to the airport. Everything about it is fantastic, setting, rooms, food - highly rated!!

“Superb, very reasonably-priced bed and breakfast”

I stayed here for a few days on work. My hosted had suggested a chain hotel which would have been more expensive but I found this place on the internet. It has lovely, one-off rooms, set in a lovely large garden. The host, James, is great, and the TV, wifi, etc all worked very well for me. Look no further!
