Prior to our trip the next day to Monument Valley we decided to stay in Kayenta, Arizona, the Hampton Inn was the perfect spot, modern, clean, rooms very spacious and well appointed, to top it off the staff were very friendly and accomodating. They have a very good restaurant with also an outdoor area to relax. Attached to the hotel... More

This is a top flight hotel. Yeah, it is pricey, but you can spend a little less and get a lot less. I've stayed in Kayenta over a dozen times in the past few years. This hotel is clearly the tops. Why? The service is spectacular. The beds are new and comfortable. The restaurant is the best in town. There... More

A good hotel for visiting Monument Valley. We found the hotel, room, staff and food to be of a good standard, clearly the best in town. P & P More

We had to stay the night in Kayenta on the way to Monument Valley and the other hotels in the area were full or else looked like somewherewe would not want to stay. The Hampton offers all the usual facilities and there was no problem with it. Thankfully we were able to get $40 dollars off their own rate by... More

Very pleasant stay at this hotel- 20 miles from Monument valley, lovely Indian decor, music, etc. Decent breakfast, This hotel has a real restuarant- good food, great staff. The only other nearby food options are Sonic, burger king, mcdonalds and subway. This hotel has a real restuarant- good food, great staff. No MW or refrigerator but really did not need... More

For $200+ this place just isn't worth the money. The bed was excellent, but after that it was disappointing. The tile in the bathroom is a recipe for disaster. When it gets wet it's like a skating rink. We had to change rooms because the (noisy) AC in the first room didn't work, there was no fridge in the room,... More

The satff were wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Unlike most Hampton's this once has an actual resturant for dinner...and its good food! Make a point of eating here while staying here...very conviently located near monument valley (20 min drive). More

This is a good choice when visiting the Monument Valley and Canyon de Chelly. It's nothing spectacular but it has an ok restaurant and large rooms. The downside is that the windows of the rooms are very small and they don't allow light to come in. It constantly feels dark and a bit miserable. Also the staff is adequate but... More

Staying in Kayenta was a last minute decision as it was a about half-way to our stop in Flagstaff (coming from Moab). We have come to expect certain things and consistencies from Hampton Inns and this one did not disappoint. The building and decor (in common areas and rooms) are tasteful southwestern. There is a large dining area for breakfast... More

The price says it should be but experience says it isn't...quite! Kayenta is more than a one-horse town and also a convenient launch pad for all things Navajo. This hotel is easy to find, on your left as you approach on the SR160 from Tuba City. Once you pay the price you expect certain things and, as far as reception... More
