Other recent reviewers haven't mentioned the fact that this lodge is set in it's own carefully managed nature reserve. We are particularly interested in birds, and had a lovely relaxing time just wandering around with binoculars, listening to bird song and identifying many species new to us. As a guest house manager myself I always expect good service from fellow establishments. Oyster bay Lodge indeed exceeded my expectations. With great service, lovely setting and beach views, makes this the perfect getaway for any couple. Spoil yourself to a horseback ride on the beach  I look forward to our next visit!
