Well maintained hotel with lovely gardens and friendly staff. Rooms clean and of reasonable size. Breakfast is well priced. Hotel well priced for the area. Premise are well secured with visible security guards.

We were visiting Johannesburg for a quick trip and we stayed again at this City Lodge - close to Sandton City Shopping Centre. The lodge has now improved the availability of an adjacent restaurant - Carpe Diem - excellent value and very friendly staff. No need to journey oput for the relasxing evening meal.

Firstly I would like to say that the staff at this hotel were extremely helpful and the room quite comfortable but unfortunately I ate there and it made me terribly ill . It was good enough for me - you can easily take a walk to Nelson Mandela Square and you can connect to OR Tambo from the nearest Gautrain station with no hassles. This the best value for money hotel in Sandton, it is situated conveniently close to the highway to Pretoria and Johannesburg. I also stay here when traveling to Joburg for meetings, it is close to the Sandton CBD area and surrounding business districts. The rooms are clean and staff very friendly. Great foyer for meetings and tea and light snacks.
