A beautiful haven in J'burgh... Dawie and his wife are excellent hosts and treat you like life-long friends. The rooms are perfect and Dawie is extremely helpful and will provide any service, including transport to attractions and to and from the airport/bus station. Nothing is too much trouble. Totally recommended!!! More

Hi, If you need a great convienent well presented cleanplace to stay then Akuwaiseni guest house in the one! Dawie the owner is very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. His knowledege of the area was first class. Its location was central to Aukland Park Soccer city and Ellis park. This place is great value for money More

My wife and I had an excellent time at Akuwaiseni Guest House, we had a long flight and from the moment we've arrived at Akuwaiseni we relaxed and we got looked after by Dawie. We only decided to stay at Akuwaiseni becuase it was the only accomodation we could find in Joburg during the World Cup. The room was disgustingly dirty despite being 'cleaned' every day, freezing cold with only a plug in electric heater meaning that we slept virtually fully clothed, there was no hot water at all, and none of the room... We spent marvellous days in Akuwaiseni; Johannesburg Auclund Park, nere Melville. Area is gret and safty. The Guest House host , Dawie is just a super person! During our 3 days stay we became friends and Dawie took us to eveywhere. Experience was a really warm, frienly and happy. I recommend Akuwaiseni to eveyone! Anne and Pasi from Finland More
