I would say The Garden Court Sandton is simply a convenient hotel after a long flight or if you want go shopping at Sandton but nothing more. If you are a business traveler and just need a place to sleep its also ok but otherwise the staff isn't friendly nor helpful as such.

We often stay in Garden Court Sandton. It is so convenient for shopping in Sandton City and is across the road from the US Consulate. The hotel offers free undercover parking and a reasonable buffet breakfast (normally included in the room rate). The rooms are a bit dated, but clean and functional. I have no complaints about Garden Court Sandton. The location was excellent since we just had to cross the road to Sandton City Mall. The breakfast was delicious and the service was on point. I was particularly happy with the shuttle service to the Train Station.

The hotel is situated in a quiet up scale neighbourhood just opposite the Sandton City mall and Nelson Mandela Square. The breakfast spread is awesome , the staff are friendly and really accommodating. I got a new toothbrush for everyday! The room was a little small but that's all I didn't like. Everything else was fab!
