We (parents with a toddler of 1.5yr old) stayed for a short week at the end of April in the Strelitzia cottage and had an absolute good time! The cottage was very nice and well-equipped and fitted perfectly to the nice and tranquil atmosphere Mike and Harja created in their beautiful house and garden. The surrounding area is lush green... We booked this guest house via Trip Advisor on Internet. We were very pleased with the offered hospitality by Mike and Harja. The site is very quite , located in a lovely nature. The restaurants in Wilderness are good especially " The Girls" ( behind the CALTEX petrol station). The accomodation in general is perfect, Nice room, good breakfast, and... More

This is a nice guesthouse, a little outside Wilderness. The rooms were lovely, they had bikes and canoes for rent which was very handy and breakfast was very nice. The hosts, Mike and Harja were very friendly and made out stay v enjoyable. Would definitely recommend it.

This place is truly a fantastic hide-away - we felt as though we had stumbled across a real secret. While it is a great place to go exploring from you might want to just hang out in the gorgeous house! Mike is an incredible host and even got up to cook us breakfast before our ridiculously early shark diving start.... More

I recently spent a night at the Old Trading Post. It is a great B&B and a prefect stop after the drive up from Cape Town. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was welcoming and the breakfast was really good. I would have no problem recommending this B&B to others.

Very friendly couple ran the B&B. we had the garden room out the back which was just what we wanted. A clean basic room with en suite bathroom and a fridge to store lunch for the next day - not that it was needed after the brilliant hearty breakfast.

The people were wonderful, the food and service and attention was fabulous. Beautiful setting and grounds, especially the four footed Dashchunds.......our favorites. They made us feel right at home. I hope we can return again at some point and recommend it highly to anyone going through the area.
