The staff across the Sun City resort were wonderful and extremely helpful. Disappointing however were the rooms in the Cascades that had a terribly smell throughout the 3 night stay.

Hotel was nice - and the fact that monkeys sprint across the pool area was entertaining for the kids! They loved the arcade and the shows around the resort complex, too. I stayed there with my 3 year old and enjoyed it very much. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast excellent. Pools nice. Close proximity to the entertainment centre. Staff very friendly and went out of their way to help us.

For the cost of 5 star hotels in Europe - and rooms of 3 star quality. Very disapointing! Main restaurant was closed during our stay, ok there are enough other restaurants but for families with kids other than fast-food and Pizza - nothing in sight. We stayed at the Cascades to see the Eagles tour. The room was by the service lift.In the early mornings there was always noise, we asked the house keeper to please speak to the room cleaners to please keep the noise down, instead they made more noise. A very nicely situated hotel in the Sun City complex...walking distance to the golf, man made beach and the most beautiful gardens on the premises to cascade around and the complex. The staff was excellent and very friendly..clean and we could not falt the place at all. Restaurants on the premises catered for one and all.

The Cascades room we stayed in had been upgraded a few years ago (say 4 years ago) and already show signs of unattended to wear and tear. Sun City is one of our favourite destinations, for so many reasons. It is a true holiday destination insofar as there is something for the whole family to enjoy. We enjoy the restaurants, the shows, and of course playing a bit in the Casino. There is a relaxed atmosphere around the pools and some nice walks around the lush gardens... More
