My fiance and I had an awesome time on the sunny Camps Bay strip. We jogged, ate and swam to our hearts content..... Would not hesitate to go again.... Love the Place on the Bay.

Stayed there for three nights. Simple and clean, good bed. Perfect if you want to be close to Victoria Road, yet very quiet at night. Wifi is not for free, but bandwidth in Camps Bay anyhow is mediocre.

The location of Place on the Bay is as good as it gets!! The facilities, room size and amenities are just right. Service, helpfulness and friendliness of staff was great. All very clean and very well run. A highly recommended location.

Perfect place in camps bay. nice rooms with lovely views. We had 2 bottles of wines that were not good but we didn‘t have to pay for them including 2 bottles we ordered earlier in the week. Service was great. Minus points were the construction who were innovating the street.

Although we had booked a non smoking room, the pillows/room smelled like someone had been smoking seriously. Seaview if you hang out of the window. Having just left the Radisson Blu which we loved, to move to Camps Bay for a couple of nights, we were extremely disappointed at the tiny, noisy rooms available - luckily there were just 2 adults & 1 child and not the 2 grandparents who were originally coming with us, as we would have been constantly tripping over each other....
