Nice family style hotel in a useful position for Table Mountain, the Waterfront, Beaches and other places of interest, seems a very safe area with lots going on. Pretty good views of the mountain, interesting area to stay in and the hop on/hop off bus stops very close by. Surprised not to have a mini bar/fridge in such a warm... More

Traveller: 26 year old. Trip: week vacation in Cape Town. 6 nights, April 2012. Would definitely recommend to any couple, business executive or friends travelling looking for a central, affordable option in the heart of Sea Point. Less attractive for families with smaller children. Pros: unbelievable value for money, location unbeatable, 50 metres from promenade, ocean view despite being off... More

For the price, this place is really hard to beat. The rooms are comfortable (if relatively basic), the location is lovely (near most spots in Cape Town you'd want to frequent AND right next to the sea), and the staff are lovely and helpful. Highly recommended - I will definitely be going back.

The hotel is beautifully located in front of the ocean. You cross the street and can go for a walk or a morning jog along the coast. The area is very safe. The hotel is a bit dated but the rooms are spacey, beds comfy, there is a tea/coffee set which is nice to have but no fridge. Bathrooms are a... More

The location is incredible, 10-15 min away from many of the sites, Waterfront, Camps Bay, Clifton and across the street from a beach if you don't want to take a taxi. Rooms: The room I stayed in was a large with a king size bed and a jacuzzi size tub (note, not a jacuzzi, just a large tub). The view... More

We were booked in another hotel and as they were over booked, they put us up at this hotel. Tell you what, thank God! It was a small but great hotel, with superb rooms and an amazing breakfast. Tracy at the reception was very helpful. Great location, 2 minute walk to the seafront and only a 8 minute walk to... More

The Cape Manor hotel was excellent. Yes the rooms were smaller than elsewhere on our Saga tour, but they are clean and comfortable and perfectly adequate. The staff are very friendly and efficient, and were very helpful with my wife’s gluten-free diet, including supplying GF bread. Some of the rooms have a sea view, and the V & A Waterfront... More

The location is fantastic, and if you get the right view you have a beautiful view of the ocean no more than 100m away. The hotel itself is a little dated, but more importantly for a hotel which focuses on the business customer, the facilities are awful. No irons or ironing boards in rooms (you have to go to an...
