Excellent value for the cost of stay. Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean rooms. Within easy walking distance to downtown Capetown. We preferred to stay in this location rather than the waterfront as it is more central. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Surrounding area appeared very safe and worry free.

Like most of the reviewers I must agree that the location of this small hotel is second to none. If you are fortunate enough to have a room with windows overlooking the Company Gardens and Table Mountain, you're in for a treat. But there are other treats too: - the hotel is right next to the museum and planetarium -... More

Overall I rate this hotel as a good three rather than a four star. The rooms are simple, but they are clean and reasonably spacious. The restaurant and bar have a cafeteria rather than "posh" hotel feel. But they do serve good food and drink at reasonable prices. The included breakfast is good rather than luxurious ( which you do... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 nights here. We had excellent advice from Norman Stevens long before we departed from the UK & he arranged an airport collection at a reasonable 300rand - about £25. Check in was efficient, the room was great - how come people moan about the small rooms - and with an excellent view of Table Mountain.... More

My husband and I came to Cape Town for our honeymoon, and Cape Town Hollow was our first hotel. We stayed for a week. We had an amazing view of Table Mountain. Stellar. Worth every penny. The breakfast buffet in the morning was fine. The pool is measly and has no view, but, hey, it's a pool. Such amazingly friendly... More

Very good hotel with clean rooms, good service from the reception and house-keeping staff. Breakfast is amazing, never had such a good cooked breakfast at any other hotels I've stayed in so far. The only quirk is the restaurant. We had dinner twice at the restaurant - the first time around the food came after 20 to 25 mins of... More

Cape Town Hollow was the perfect choice for our stay in Cape Town. We stayed there for 4 nights. The view of Table Mountain from the room was really beautiful but in all honestly we didnt spend much time in the room as there is so much to see and do in Cape Town. The location is perfect - 2km's... More

We started off our holiday at this lovely hotel. As others have said, the views of Table Mountain and the park from our hotel room were amazing. The staff were all so friendly and Simone who worked on the desk was extremely helpful and recommended a lovely restaurant called Mama Africa in Long Street just around the corner from the... More

We stayed in Cape Town Hollow Hotel for one week in November 2008 after a bad experience in a reserved hotel near the beach. Cape Town Hollow Hotel is fantastic. In our group, I supposed I got the best hotel room since it was facing the table mountain, the museum and planetarium. I just opened my curtains all night till... More

I stayed at Cape Town Hollow for 3 weeks this past winter. It was everything I ever needed. The rooms were always clean and had everything you could need. The breakfast was included and had a fantastic staff. It was great to see their smiling faces in the morning and the pizza they make is to die for. I encountered... More
