The only advantage of this hotel is that it is near to the conventional center where we were exhibiting. The hotel is old, very old room ... the hotel is still living the mid 80's

Some of the rooms have nice view to the Table Mountains, some - to the rear of the parking lot. Very good air condition, spacious rooms. The compressor of the A/C is located on the small terrace, making it useless. Dinner on 3 consecutive nights was identical - even the soup... Well located near the waterfront and convention center

The hotel is in no way to be considered as 4 star. The Facilities in the room were not even close to 3 star hotel leave alone a 4 star hotel. The rooms were too small and were not at all comfortable. After being out for the whole day we look forward to relaxing in our hotel room but this was... More

I stayed at this hotel as part of a trip to the World Cup, so was obviously subject to the price hikes that happened during the tournament. The location was superb, with just a 5 minute walk to the busy Waterfront but also a 5 minute walk into central Cape Town and the cultural sights. A no frills business hotel... More

1960s furnishings (if that), smelly, poor service, over-priced, wireless internet does not work in some of the rooms, abundant but low quality food, raucous parrot ifreely strutting in lobby, .....

We came here for the World Cup along with our very active one-year-old. First of all, we found the location to be quite central. There was even the big red touring double-decker bus station right behind the hotel. Took very little time to travel by public transport or taxi to the V&A Waterfront or to the Green Point Stadium. The... More

We staye here during the world cup, the staff were very friendly and helpful, security was very good, rooms are comfortable but not stunning 4 star, food good, if not plentiful....I would say it is ideal for business or a base for sight seeing, not a family "chilling" out sort of place--No Pool etc.. but can't complain, have stayed in... My first time reviewing a hotel. Simply put, I feel like I have to spend my own time to warn people how TERRIBLE this place was! Stay AWAY from this hotel no matter what "good" reviews you have read about it. I am working in US, and had a conference trip to Cape Town in May 2010, lived in Capetonian... More
