Very friendly staff who are really helpful. I had a nice double room to myself, with shared bathroom which was all fine. Good location, at the end of Long St so not too noisy but good for lovely places for brunch and nightlife and central for buses etc.

This place is well situated at the end of Long street, plenty of restaurants, bars and supermarkets close by. The dorms are very basic but quite nice. Totally recommend this place! It's cool, it's quiet and a real place to relax in the middle of Long Street. The rooms are clean, the price is very good and the flair is unbelievable! You feel like in a little oasis in the middle of crawling Cape Town! Communication and reservation via email without any problems!

I spent 10 nights here and apart from having no bar or pool table like stated its a great hostel,clean rooms helpful staff and far away enough from the manic bars further down long street.I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a gd value for money place to stay without no noise or drama!!!

This was my second time to stay at Cat and Moose. It's a great place, the staff is very helpful, and the location is perfect. Close enough to everything you would want to see on Long Street, but far enough away to be quiet.
