I took my mom and mother inlaw to this hotel for 3 nights on the motherday weekend. Best choice we stayed in a two bedroom platinum suite which had a great lounge and dinning area. The hotel deco is so natural and amazing it makes you feel like you are home.my parents enjoyed it after a long day of enjoying... More

Mandela Rhodes place has wonderful apartments. We stayed in a two bedroom one which was wonderfully furnished and equipped with all the mod cons needed to help when travellling with your kids (dishwasher, washing machine). Nice and spacious living area with fabulous views of city bowl and the mountain. Staff pay attention to children (t-shirt gift and travel cot on... More

Madela Rhodes was a good experience and great value for money. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for our stay and it was great having the extra space of an apartment and still getting the facilities of a hotel. The service wasn't outstanding but was good enough and some staff really impressed us. I would advise against using the concierge... More

We stated three nights in a studio with all ammenitites you could imagine and very good decoration. The buffet breakfast was fabulous and hotel staff is frienly and customer service oriented. I forgot my backpack in the lobby area with my Ipad and camera inside, and before I even noticed was delivered to my room!! The location is very good.

We just spent the night there. very huge rooms. Right in the middle of town. Seems more like a business hotel. Wifi is not free. No other compaints. Not sure about pricing and it's worth. We didn't stay long enough to evaluate.

I stayed in a large apartment with all the necessary amenities one needs for self catering. It is centrally located as I had business in the CBD. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant arrangement with Doppio Zero downstairs comes in handy- in that you can eat and bill it to your room. However the hotel is rather... More

My parents and I stayed at the Mandela Rhodes Hotel for three nights in the platinum two-bedroom apartment, and had a great stay. for what we paid, we got a HUGE unit that was modern and had a full kitchen. The kitchen came with any type of utensils or plates needed. The showers were a bit small for my taste,... More

Mandela Rhodes is well located in central Cape Town but for the price, you'd expect a lot more. PROS: - Extremely large rooms / service apartments - Modern design with lots of natural light - Well located - Fantastic restaurant: Doppio Zero (excellent Italian) and two nearby Indian restaurants (Bukhara and the restaurant in the neighboring Taj, Bombay Brasserie) CONS:...
