“Amazing Staff”

Stayed here as a couple for 5 nights, there was easy access to hiking up signal mountain, lions head and table mountain a few blocks behind the backpackers. The rooms and general cleanliness needed attention but the friendly staff made this bearable. Devons walking tour of town was a great day to spend the day.

I stayed at Afrique du Sud for a few nights and had a wonderful time. Its in a good location, has friendly and helpful staff (heard its under new management), its clean and safe, we braai'd on the balcony and the kitchen was well equipped. “Friendly staff, but very unclean room and toilets”

Very helpfull and friendly staff, they made everything happen you wished (e.g. booking cars, tickets for Robben Island, booking day trips ... :-) Our room was very dirty and dusty at arrival, some bunches of black hairs were in the basin; both toilets on the second floor looked like they haven't been cleaned for the last years - ugh!!!!
