This was our first stop on the garden route. Unfortunately not whale season. Carol was lovely and extremely helpful and made us feel right at home. The place is cute and very homely.

We would not hesitate to recommend Whale Cottage to anyone travelling to Hermanus. We were given a huge warm welcome from Carol and loved our room "the Whale Room' we could lie in bed and actually watch whales. We will definately be booking again. Matt and Angela. UK

This place was amazing! The location is in a beach complex, but what a location - right on the water/rocks with stunning views. We fell in love with this little retreat!! The staff are amazing and friendly and always on hand when needed. We were thoroughly impressed from start to finish! We will return with friends and family in tow.
