We booked it on the spot. All well maintained and great view. Self catering though, but supermarket closeby. Nice wooden cottages. Give a bit of a sauna feel to it. Beds are good as well if you like them a bit firm. Parking under the cottage nice and convenient. Would recommend it to my friends.

It is a very nice, quiet and safe location. The log cabins are pretty. We enjoyed our stay here and will defnitely book here again, but next time for 2 nights. One night is just too short a stay for Knysna. The view over the lagoon is excellent. We had a wonderful sunset.

We stayed in wooden house with garage on first floor and bathroom, kitchen and bedroom on second floor. The adjacent house connected via a shared entrance. Everything was in good condition and clean, loved the bathroom but the bedroom was less spacious and the ceiling fan so low it is almost dangerous for everyone over 1.75m tall. Not as spacious... I was lucky enough to be travelling as a group and some of us were allocated a 3 bedroom lodge - wow! Lovely log cabins with tons of room in every room. The two twin rooms downstairs were spacious, had ensuite bathrooms with corner jacuzzi bath and were well furnished. Beds were clean and very comfortable. We couldn't find the... More

We had a garage at grond floor, living with kitchen at first, bed and bathroom at second floor. Really big wooden house. You overlook the bay of Knysna when you look outside. Everything is present in the kitchen, you only have to get some food. Jacuzzi is at second floor.

Stayed here for 3 nights in january. The lodges are excellent value for money, and provide a great base for exploring the Garden Route. We had 2 interconnecting lodges and our friends stayed in the large lodge, though i do beleive that can be split into seperately contained units. Finding the lodges off the main road is very easy, and... More

We stayed for three nights, and didn't regret for a second. A family of 5, we got two adjacent rooms, with parent upstairs, and kids split downstairs between the rooms. The rooms are both new and well maintained. The view is stunning - makes you wake up with a smile every morning. As a bonus, we happened to forget an... More

We stayed 2 nights in Abalone Lodge, and our first impression was really good: very nice and cozy place, very clean, everything new in the bathroom. Everything super if it wasn't the coldest place I've ever slept in!!!!! It was deep winter, so pretty cold outside, and we had the same temeprature inside: we could barely change our clothes without... More
