Great place to "go back into the jungle" with the rainforest motif decor sprinkled with a bit of fun, e.g. stained glass church windows, or claw-footed bath tub. Each room is a unique combination of jungle hut, church gothic, and children's playhouse. Wonderful. Most of all, very clean. The couple who own the place are very friendly and helpful. He... More

This must be the most surprising place to stay on the Garden Route - a home for hobbits in the middle of Knysna. Close the curtains (that overlook the car park next door) and you could believe yourself in the African wilderness. Our hosts are welcoming and hospitable, with good recommendations for eating locally, and breakfasts are delicious. Highly recommend... More

We stayed here three nights and really enjoyed the experience. Our hosts Helen and Riaan were so friendly and helpful. They couldn't do enough for us. Making welsh cakes on St. David's Day for a fellow Welsh girl was so thoughtful. We loved our cabin set in the 'jungle' garden with a small balcony ideal for sundowners. Overall a wonderful... More

We stayed here one night in the tree top chalet. We enjoyed the experience but I'm not sure I could've stayed another night due to the noise and lack of privacy in the bathroom which other reviewers have mentioned. Don't let that put you off though as the noise didn't bother my partner!! The hosts were very friendly and breakfast... More

We stayed two nights in this excellent place. It is something different, you feel you are in the bush, but actually you are right next to the main road. Nice owners, clean rooms, walking distance (10 min) to restaurants.

A really unique place, rustic rooms on a small hill, convenient location near shops and restaurants and only 10 min walk from the harbor. We stayed here over Xmas for 2 nights, would have stayed longer but unfortunately it was fully booked. First night we stayed in one of the smaller double rooms which was fine on the second night... We stayed there in December 2011. It was the best stay of the holiday possibly up to now. Riaan and Helen are excellent hosts and made us feel at home immediatley! The bed was super comfortable and the shower stunning. Yes, you hear some traffic noise but then again you are right in the middle of town so that can... More

We stayed at Inyathi for three nights and overall, it was a great experience. It is central and even though it is right on the Main Road, it wasn't noisy and the trees and layout made it feel like you were somewhere else than the middle of town. It is easy to walk to the waterfront and a variety of... More

They haven't forgotten a thing; from the art decorations to the Braai for guest usage to the amazing breakfast...and the ceiling fans!!! Kind hosts and a fab location. Stay here!! Not all rooms have a shower; some have a tub. If you care, ask in advance.
