I will set the scene. Hotel is just across a quiet road from the sea. A jetty with ladder water access, decking area with comfy sunbeds and tables, a small sandy beach of about 30 meters mostly covered with basic sunbeds with easy shallow stoney access to the water which is quite a pleasurable place to swim with sunbathing platforms... This hotel is not for English visitors! The location is good and the rooms by the pool are quite nice but all the other rooms are pokey and dirty. We moved from one room where the plug sockets were falling out of the hotel; to another room with graffiti on the wall and massive damp patches all over the bathroom.... More

We spent 2 weeks in this hotel in August. We had overall good impression on the place but there were some drawbacks. First of all we reserved economy rooms and they were not acceptable- we didn't expect economy could mean dark holes without real window. I can't think of a tourist wishing to stay in a room like that. In... More

The location was excellent, but the hotel was absolutely rubbish. I never received a safe for my belongings as promised, the staff was miserable and unhelpful. The food was surrounded by wasps and the waiters never even offered you a drink. The bar closed early, the drinks were warm and served in plastic glasses. I would strongly advise that you... More

Myself and female friend stayed at Elite from 10th - 17th Sept. We were delighted that we got a two bedroom apartment. I requested a large room and was thrilled with apartment. I have been going to Turkey for over 20yrs. My first time to Yalikavak. I will definitely return. I found it a wonderfully relaxing place no hastle whatsoever.... More

My sister and I stayed at this hotel(?) 3 - 17 October 2011, and agree totally with the previous reviewer. I have never met such unwelcoming staff - I think the guests were interrupting their fishing (carried out at every opportunity) too much! The main course in the restaurant had a choice of only two dishes and was very similar... More

I have just returned from a one week stay at this '4 star all inclusive hotel' and really don't know where to start. As the season was drawing to a close the staff treated us like we didn't exist, rude, unwelcoming, didn't bother wearing uniforms anymore and spent most of their time fishing. The food was AWFUL, we were forced... More

My wife chose this hotel and destination and chose, as always, amazingly well; Yalikavak is a fairly small town approximately one hour's drive from Bodrum and, thankfully, is nowhere near as tourist orientated. Of the Hotel, like any "All Inclusive" holidays, there is always that feeling that you might be staying in an open prison, especially if the hotel isn't... More
