- Promenade Hotel Buenos Aires

Helpful staff, great breakfast, centrally located, close to Subte, and close to Burquebus terminal for travel to Uruguay.
it's very reasonable and very good situated, just close Florida St., at city center.
The reviews from this website seems reasonable, which is the price of the hotel. It seems I got less than what I paid for. The staff doesn't speak much English, which made it hard to communicate to them regarding billing particulars. But they try hard to make your stay comfortable. I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in Feb 08 as I booked a "stopover" with Tucan before my Peru trip. The trip in from the airport isn't lovely, with Russian block-style concrete projects and crumbling slummy lowrises. Though the air was warm, it was filled with exhaust and sewage, and the buildings downtown could use a good wash-...
