A small prepayment is required, but that assures you of a booked reservation. Good hostel, very good location. Friendly staff. Clean. Nice roof terras. Relatively quiet. The rooms are somewhat small, but that is almost always the case in Buenos Aires. Would stay again.

The staff wasn't helpful at all: rather we had the impression they were always making fun of guests and were not available for giving any kind of information (they barely said 'hello' when seeing you and when they do, it's like they are doing you a favour).
