I know this place has had poor reviews, but for £50 a night, it's not the worst I've stayed in. Clean, decent sized rooms and good wifi. Bathrooms smell a little though... Great location near the main street and the Florida pedestrian mall. Friendly staff, they accept cash or credit cards.

generally, good value for money. location is fantastic! elevator is a bit small In some rooms mattresses are soooo soft, that i had to remove upper mattress and slept on one mattress only, which was great. still, better than to be stone hard. breakfast was average. i would recommend the place.

Hotel Splendid has a great location in the centre of Buenos Aires. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The rooms were old but clean, the only problem was the noice of generator during and night. For us was this a good option!

Just got out of the taxi into the reception area which I had to be buzzed in by reception staff to get in yet they didnt even question what the dodgy looking robbers were doing there and just allowed them to roam reception area.
