This place is well organised & very welcoming. The staff are young & friendly & very helpful re local advice, transport links etc. They had a bbq one evening then we were invited to a party in town at the apartment of one of the staff's boyfriend. Couldn't ask for more! & no prob with me being WAY older than... More

It's a party hostel. If you're a seasoned backpacker, you know what that means. PROS: It's the kind of place where you do things with the other guests, and with the owners. It's all one big crowd here. Great group dinners at the hostel, drinking and cards on the patio at night, and even going bar-hopping with the owners after... More

Tango hostel has the most fabulous and helpful staff ever, especially Javier makes you feel like home. The hostel itself is very clean and well kept. We stayed in the private double bed room, which is a bit small, but nice and comfortable. Being older folks we liked that there was not a party every night. Tango hostel has a... More

i arrived at this hostel tired after a long bus journey and wasn´t really in the mood to talk to anyone. The two brothers running the hostel immediately changed my mind and i ended up eating the dinner provided by the hostel and going out with the other guests till the early hours. The attitude and cheerfulness of the staff... More

This is a gem of a hostel located in a great neighbourhood, 10 minutes walk to the historical centre of Cordoba. It's run by a Colombian family who gave us the most amazing welcome. It felt like a big home, with optional dinners cooked almost every night (including a weekly asado) and a really good communal feel. The wifi works,... More

Tango hostel has been the best experience I've had so far while traveling in South America. The owner and his family are great, the staff very friendly and helpful in booking reservations for tours and giving advice on what to do in cordoba. The asado was amzing, amazing food, family-style dinner and a lot of alcohol. The owners wife had... More

I had a horrible experience at this place. I reserved one of the private rooms and it was unbelievably filthy. There was mold all over the bathroom. The floors were dirty. Paint is peeling off the walls. There were just holes where wires come out of the ceiling for the lights. I've never seen anything like this. I was tired... More

theres really nothing wrong with this hostel in terms of aesthetics or cleanliness: it's genuinely spotless and the layout is fine. The problem was the staff. Professional - yes. But they treat the place more like their own living room that the other guests and i felt like we were intruding. this sounds ridiculous but all of us had the... More
